Garten Landscape Training Program
Garten’s Landscape Training Program is a no-cost, six-week landscape training program designed to prepare participants for entry-level careers in the landscaping industry in Salem, Oregon. Through a blend of classroom instruction and weekly hands-on training, trainees build practical skills, industry knowledge, and confidence they can take directly into the workforce.
This comprehensive landscape course covers essential landscaping techniques while introducing advanced concepts used by today’s employers. Participants who successfully complete the program earn a Non-Credited Certificate through Chemeketa Community College, along with a $1,400 stipend to support them as they take their next career step.
Graduates leave the program equipped with real-world experience, job-ready skills, and a clear pathway into landscaping and landscape maintenance roles.

Graduates earn a training program certificate in the form of a Non-Credited Certificate through Chemeketa Community College and leave prepared for entry-level training positions, with clear pathways into landscaping jobs after completion.
