Our Perks
Health Insurance
We offer health, dental, vision and life insurance at no cost for the employee. Employees may purchase coverage for eligible dependents. Garten also offers supplemental insurance plans through AFLAC as well as Voluntary Life Insurance. Benefits are effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
Vacation Time
We value your rest and longevity. We offer a paid time off plan that begins after 90 days of employment. Your paid time off increases the longer you stay with Garten!
Retirement
Employees who work 1,000 hours a year are eligible to participate in the Garten Retirement Plan following 1 year of service. In addition, we offer an optional TSA plan for employees to contribute to.
Holidays
Garten recognizes nine paid holidays and one paid floating holiday. Regular Full-time and Part-Time employees are eligible to receive paid holidays (Part-Time employees holiday pay is pro-rated based on the hours they work).
Volunteer
Volunteering is available through multiple departments within Garten, and we love our volunteers. There are volunteer as well as internship opportunities for individuals wanting to contribute to the organization. Volunteers can be helpful in a variety of areas, some of which include assisting in the Day Break Activities program, help plan or run an event, or assisting in one of our business enterprises to teach job skills.
