Friends of Garten Happy Hour

Friends of Garten Happy Hour is our newest event, highlighting the achievements of individuals with disabilities and the impact of programs delivered by Garten across the community. This gathering brings together supporters, partners, and community members to celebrate success stories, strengthen connections, and learn more about the difference inclusive employment makes in Salem, Oregon and the Willamette Valley.
Sip & Stroll Salem

Sip & Stroll Salem is a one-of-a-kind community event that brings people together in Downtown Salem, Oregon. Enjoy local wines, beers, and spirits, along with delicious bites, as you explore unique local businesses throughout the district. This signature event supports programs delivered by Garten that empower individuals and increase access to disability support services, and provides awareness to the small businesses that call downtown Salem home.
Garten Gala

The Garten Gala is an evening celebrating youth with disabilities and their achievements across the community. This signature fundraising event features a silent auction, live auction, and dessert dash, along with inspiring stories that highlight the impact of our Youth Employment Services program in Salem, Oregon and the surrounding region. Guests come together to support opportunities and long-term independence.

Sip & Stroll Salem is a signature Garten event held in Downtown Salem, Oregon, featuring local wine, beer, spirits, food, and local businesses. Guests spend the evening exploring downtown while supporting a cause that directly impacts their community. In 2026, event proceeds helped #MoveGartenForward by supporting the purchase of a wheelchair-accessible van that strengthens outreach and community support efforts.
The Friends of Garten Happy Hour is a community gathering that highlights success stories from inclusive employment programs. It brings together supporters and partners for a relaxed evening of connection, conversation, and shared purpose. The event also helps grow the number of monthly sustaining donors who provide consistent year-round support.
The Garten Gala is our annual fundraising event that celebrates youth with disabilities and their achievements. It features silent and live auctions, a dessert dash, and inspiring stories from Garten’s Youth Employment Services. It is also one of the most important nights of the year for youth programming, helping expand opportunities and open doors for young people with disabilities.
